The Creepy Cottage, Horrorwood Haunted Hayride, Purgatory, Hell-ements, The Chop Shop , The Coven of 13, Wastelands Penitentiary, Electrick Circus, Doom Town, The Carving & ………
There are 11 attractions and a Street Theatre team at Shocktober Fest, all with different styles of performance. Electrick Circus for instance requires very physical performers who can respond and adapt quickly to the ever changing environment within a high impact maze, whereas the Street Theatre team needs actors with great improvisation skills and can interact and engage with the up-close audience.
It’s hard work, and on some of the attractions it’s also cold and wet. You may be working outdoors, but shelter is always nearby.
SCREAM TRAINING™
As a returning performer, you will already have the knowledge to go straight through to SCREAM TRAINING™. This will be a second stage of audition and you are not guaranteed a position even if you worked on previous years. SCREAM TRAINING™ will be for casting purposes and you need to let us know that you want to be considered.
DATE: Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th, Friday 11th, Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September 2026
VENUE: The Ark, Mount Ln, Turners Hill, Crawley RH10 4RA
(5mins drive from Tulleys Farm)
TIME: 9.30am – 5.00pm (ALL DAY)
IMPORTANT: SCREAM TRAINING™ IS MANDATORY. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND AT LEAST ONE OF THE SPECIFIED DAYS. IF YOU CAN NOT, DO NOT APPLY.
There are NO circumstances that would allow a performer to be cast without attending SCREAM TRAINING™. This is still an audition – please do not be complacent, the training must be taken seriously and is a requirement for our insurance and health and safety. Please remember how many people are keen to work at Shocktober Fest. Competition is fierce!!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME
- Completed ‘personal details & availability’ form with inserted digital photo (This will be emailed to you with confirmation of your SCREAM TRAINING™ place on the 31ST AUGUST).
- UNDER 18 Signed Permission form (If applicable) This will also be emailed to you.
- Make sure you are wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that will not restrict movement.
- A bottle of water.

DEADLINE 28TH AUGUST
Complete online application form by 28TH AUGUST to reserve your place at SCREAM TRAINING™ and to tell us your preferred training day. Please read the form carefully to ensure that you provide us with all the necessary information. On successful submission, you will receive an email from tulleys@screampark.co.uk.
We will email you on the 31ST AUGUST to confirm your SCREAM TRAINING™ place. PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK MAIL.
UNDER 18 YEARS OLD
We do not employ performers under the age of 16. If you are under 18, then a parent or guardian must sign the UNDER 18 Permission Form including their full name and their address. This form will be emailed to you and you must bring it completed to your audition.
The form will include the following statement:
“I hereby give full permission for [your name] to take part in the Tulleys Shocktober Fest event as a performer for Scream Park Entertainments Ltd & Tulleys Farm”
THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM WILL TAKE APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES TO COMPLETE. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO GIVE US SOME PERSONAL DETAILS, YOUR AVAILABILITY, AND A RECENT PHOTOGRAPH OF YOURSELF.
